Thing #5: Instant Messaging

I finally got my Instant Messaging working. I'm not sure what went wrong, but I ended up going back to Thing #4 and starting over with a whole new Google account. It took a long time, and I would have given up without the help of Allana. Thanks goodness for e-mail! It was fun once I finally got it working, but it certainly wasn't an instant process.
